Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have some musical equipment from the US and was looking for a step down transformer to be able to use it here. I'm looking at about 300W needed. I know Peats is one option but their online page http://www.peats.com/cgi-bin/test_new/catalog.cgi?view_product=1&id=4724
only has 100W or 800W which makes things a bit awkward.

Any other suggestions for places to go buy a step-down transformer?

Ok! Thanks. I'm thinking 500W should be enough but 800W is a bit of overkill given the equipment is rated at 260W.

But the question remains, what is the best play to buy the damn things?

You could try Radionics... They sell over the counter to cash customers so you don't need to be in the industry to buy from them. Search for item 310-2171 at http://www.radionics.ie for example. (Sorry, their direct links to products time out quite quickly)
