Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm going off to Thailand/Vietnam in september and just looked at the label on my dainese jacket and it says 'made in Vietnam'.

Anyone know if it's possible to pick up gear that doesn't have the western price markup while over there? - the real deal and not knock-offs.

Was in Vietnam last year, but didn't see any bike gear anywhere. I wouldn't have bought if I did.

For example, saw lots of lowe alpine, the north face etc. decided to buy a "gore tex" jacket. Was very cheap & looked like the real deal, had the labels, zips etc. didn't look cheap and nasty. But it isn't goretex.
Didn't mind too much as it was still a nice jacket, but with safety equipment you don't want to take the same risks.
