mechanics limerick - catletroy/anacotty area

hello everybody,
I thought that some specialist of limerick might be able to help me !
I'm looking for a good garage repair in limerick, preferably close to castletroy.
Indeed, I'm not very good in car (I fact I know nothing) and as I'm foreign and recently arrived, I do not know anybody who could advise me.
I bought a battery but I cannot remove the pevious one because one of the piece which holds it is rusted and obviously I cannot move this car to a garage (which explain why I'm looking one close the casteltroy or annacotty).

I take the opportunity to aks for another thing, the date of my nct is passed and I was wondering if it was better to have it checked first by a garage or to go directly to nct test and wait for the list of fix needed (old car).

First of all, go to the NCT first and then figure out what needs fixing.

Second, go to a man called Eammonn O'Carroll behind the Kilmurray Lodge Hotel. He has a garage up on the hill in the trees behind the hotel. Excellent mechanic, cheap rates. His number is 336 038.

To get to his garage, take the turn to the left directly after the halting site on Dublin Road (same side as halting site). Drive straight until you come to large gates. Press the call button on intercom and he'll open gates for you.
