11:11 (23:11)

Now i would hate to think i'm going insane but for the last like year, those numbers are always there when i look at a clock on the tv or in my room or on the computer.

How can i always look at the tv or alarm clock at that time baffles me!

When i wake up i look at my phone only to be greeted by 11:11, i head upstairs in the evening or on the comp and glance at the clock to be greeted by 23:11!!

Now i am beginning to wonder if there could be any significance tied to these numbers!:eek:

It works like this,

At some stage you look at clock and see 11:11 then a few days later it happens again, and you remember this first time and think "freaky" now everytime you see 11:11 it catches your attention.

But its nothing really, try count how many times per day you check the time and its probably nearly 50 times. You're bound to see a few recurring numbers every few days.

A friend of mine is into numerology (I know, weird friend!). She says 11 is one of the three power numbers, whatever that means. So maybe your clock is plugged in and doesn't need batteries? Or maybe you should run for Pres of the US and replace Bush when he vacates office? I know, the next time you are in a Chinese restaurant and break a fortune cookie, check to see if the lucky numbers at the bottom include 11. If so, maybe bet a euro on the lotto? Ha!

I tend to notice 13:37 a lot... though I don't think there's anything freaky about it... I agree with Fighting Irish tbh.

Look at your watch/clock/whatever more than twice a day and this should solve your problem.

Slightly OT, but I have a knack for knowing the exact time, right down to the minute; when someone asks, or even if I'm just wondering, I'm usually exactly right.

On nights out I try to make hte number plate of the taxi add up to 13 or 23 (that damn movie!!!)

Saturday night it was ??-G-6727

(7*2)+6=20 - 7= 13

It's irritating if it doesn't add up!

it happened to me quite a bit after i saw the film 11:11. once i was using my phone and i noticed that it was 11:11, then a few minutes later i looked at my watch which happened to be a few minutes slow. guess what time it said

I remember being freaked out by the number 13 and so started seeing it everywhere, but the really weird thing was I got a name tag once that I had to wear saying ELVIS, which backwards looked like 13...

Strange, I knew what this thread was about as soon as I read the title! I notice 11:11 a lot as well, mostly sice I came across the Rufus Wainwright song of the same name. Relevance? It's just a number that sticks in your head. You probably notice 16:20, 14:17 and 13:37 just as much tbh, they just don't stick in your head.
