Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Looks like a rootkit tried to install/run - do a google for "vdo.sys" and you'll see what I mean.

Have you by any chance clicked the link in one of those spam "you've got an ecard" messages in the past few days? They're easy to spot as they always have a raw IP address in them (instead of the web site name).

I think you'd better read this link:-

    http://www.castlecops.com/postlite195027-vdo.html

....it says in there that there's a good chance your firewall has been disabled...and these "rootkits" seems to be invisible to most AV scanners. I think if you follow the instructions in the above link you should be able to clear it up.
