maximum vibrational quantum level ?

    hey haven trouble with this. it probably really easy but cant find how to do it anywhere.

    i have the oscillation frequency for the molecule aswell as the anharmonicty constant... how do i get the max vib quantum level?

    any help appreciated

    try this

    J^2 * (Psi) -h*j(j+1)*Psi = 0
    J_z*Psi = h*m_j*Psi

    works for me
