Camping in Galway

looking for some good areas for camping outside the city. dont want a camp site with other campers. just somewhere scenic without disturbing others

There are plenty of isolated spots out in connemara. You might have a tricky time finding a nice place with *no* other campers but its possible I'm sure! I'll PM you the details of a nice spot I found recently, you probably will find other campers there but its still quiet and isolated.

there's a few tents at Nimmo's Pier near the Claddagh (and you get a great view of the Bay)
