Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

    Looking for some advice.
I am thinking of buying a Sony K800i which comes with a Sony Bluetooth car kit. How can i get the phone to stream music via Bluetooth to this car kit?
The phone supports A2DP. Do i need a specific car kit to do this or can the sony car kit be enhanced / modified to do so? I'm guessing it's a standard sony bluetooth car kit.

    Cheers

    K

If you have a spare RCA port at the back of your car stereo, you could get one of these:

I have mine installed and hidden away in the glovebox. Works well and the sound is a million times better than fm transmitters etc.

BUT, make sure to check that its compatible with your phone. I have a Nokia E90 (which has A2DP) but it doesn't seem to like Nokias. Not sure about Sony, but if you ring the support number they'll tell you.

If it isn't you could buy their transmitter aswell (which is what I've done) but of course its not the ideal solution.

I wanted to stream music from my K800i, you cant use ANY SE car kits to stream music.
    Im using the parrot MK6100
    http://www.parrot.com/uk/products/parrotmk6100

It works like a treat, and a mad computer generated female voice (with a french accent) that speaks the persons name thats ringing you is good too

Basically sell the car kit you got with the K800i and get the mk6100
