The various ROs that built the stages , did stats , etc etc . The squad flies out to France on Friday the 14 th Of September for the match .

Well done to all concerned. For all of us who know nothing about the sport could you tell us the meaning of the different divisions, and incidentally which clubs the team members selected hail from?

In relation to the clubs , MNSI , NITSA , and East Coast would cover I think all of the team members . The divisions would encompess , Production , pistol is normally 9mm cal , first shot must be DAO and the pistol must be on the IPSC approved list , the scoring sequence is somewhat differant for 9mm guns , with slightly less points available for c and d scoring hits . Standard division pistols are normally .40 Cal , single action only , the competitor is allowed to change various items in the gun , he or she is not allowed to use any form of compensator on the barrell , and the pistol must conform to a size specification . Senior is anyone over the age of 50 .

    Just to clarify the scoring system , a competitior shooting a 9mm is scored 5 Points for a A zone , 3 points for a C Zone and 1 point for a D Zone hit, if you are shooting a major cal ie .40 , .45 , 10 mm you score 5 for a A zone , 4 for a C Zone and 2 for a D zone . Simply , you get more points if you shoot a major cal gun .
