Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Had an idea. How about setting up an album of the week thread in the same vein as the fotw thread over in films? I know there's probably more people going through the films forum to vote than here but might be worth a go still. Apologies if this has been suggested before

Thats a great idea. People'd get an idea of different bands and albums to try out too.. It can be any album yeah? old or new,like in the film forum?

Presumably it's "Rock/Metal" album of the week? Is the idea that it be new or old albums?

It might work. It might not (Beer of the Week on Beers/Wines/Spirits never quite took off)

just judging by the first few nominations, it may take a few weeks to settle down so that people are actually voting for album of the week, rather than theyre favourite album ever
