    Hi,

Does anyone know the best way to remove the contact adhesive used to fix cork tiles down, or it ok to tile over it, i have removed my tiles and scraped teh floor but the adhesive still remains although it is quite hard now. Any advise as to wether i can lay self leveling compound or tile adhisive over it and if not how to remove it.

    Thanks

Try some nail varnish remover on a spot. If it softens/disolves it get acetone from the pharmacy and you can scrap it off. Beware it is highly flamable and use solvent proof mask and ventilation when using.
