I reckon Appetite has it for last week, and a great choice too.

For this week, I'd like to nominate Mastodon's Remission - an absolutely quality metal album that I think is reasonably accessible to non-metallers and would be a good starting point for anyone wondering what metal's about - it covers a lot of basses so to speak. Great riffing and melody and excellent musicianship shown from all I players.

March of the Fire Ants and Ol'e Nessie are 2 stand-out tracks for me.
