Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I would vote for Down III: Above The Below but it's not out yet so probably not many have heard of it and since I got no replies to my Down thread it seems pointless. So my vote is......

    Marduk - Rom 5:12

Ok there doesn't seem to be much support for Blackwater Park so maybe its time for a change. With me being over the moon about Nightwish Dates being revealed i'm going to go for Wishmaster by Nightwish :D

Agree, but I think Angel Dust just edges it for me this week

This is the rock/metal forum but all that seems to be on offer here is a tour of classic old metal albums. Not a complaint, but lacking a bit in the interest department.

So I nominate Rory Gallagher - Calling Card

Good shout for Rory......but Led Zep 4 is a metal album?????????

No, its not. But you'd need to have been living under a rock to not have listen to Led Zep. at some point. Many people have just not heard of Rory. I would definitely prefer Album of the Week to be an introduction to new and interesting sounds as opposed to a tour of classic metal albums. I think Rush is a good step towards the former :)

You'd be surprised how many people havent heard the likes of Led Zeppelin, or have heard it and dont know they have. Was going to nominate II this week but went for Mer De Noms instead.

Guess I'll put on for NIN - The Downward Spiral.

Among the sexiest of any of the albums nominated so far.

    For next week.

This week I am going to vote for Siamese Dream by Smashing Pumpkins. I haven't listened to it in years and Soma has just come up on random play. I'd forgotten just how much I liked that song and, in fact, the whole album.
