Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have tried various Creative and Mikomi (Argos) web cams, but they are some problems with them on Vista.

Creative didnt have Vista upgrades for the cams I tried, and Mikomi one installed, but then I just got a black window instead of the webcam picture.

Has anyone tried with a cheap(ish) webcam ( <25 euros) and got it successfully working on Vista?

Haven't had any problems with the Logitech or Microsoft ones myself but there are usually more expensive.

With the webcams you had connected did you try going to Windows Update and see if a newer driver was available

just to add to the topic....but slightly adapt it at the same time....

if anyone got those cheap webcams to work with Windows XP please tell me. I couldnt get my Advent ADE-300N to work with XP (well, it worked fine but caused the system to hang and crash etc).

vis a vis 'Vista'...je ne sais pas.
