I want to bring the baby for a swim. Where's best in Cavan or is a trek to Meath handier from Ballyduff?

There is always cavan swimming pool.A large section of the pool would be nice for children at the far end.

Cheers Bummer, went there today. Its a grand spot. Nice big pool and an area to splash about with the kids at the side. Eur6.50 for an adult for as long as you like and you can use the jacuzzi, sauna and steam room too. Good facilities and well looked after.

You can also use the swimming pool in Bailieborough, more or less the same as Cavan's pool, maybe slightly bigger. Cavan is probably closer to you though.

Bailieborough is way too cold for babies.

hi, monaghan has the most lovely pool for babies and children. it is alot warmer than cavan in the baby pool and has a tiny baby slide for little ones and a huge slide for the 4yr old and up. we went there from bailieborough the other day and it was a lovely day out. excellent clean facility and friendly staff. couldn't recommend more. also alot cheaper than bailieborough and cavan yet much nicer? !!
    enjoy
