Hi All, Trying to get an up to date answer on this, but which is the best car sat nav system for sale for around €300? I hear that the Navteq maps are best for Ireland? It will be 99.9% used in Ireland, so not to bothered with Europe. I really like the idea of the custom voices on TomTom, but better mapping is my main…

Hi All,

Trying to get an up to date answer on this, but which is the best car sat nav system for sale for around €300?
I hear that the Navteq maps are best for Ireland? It will be 99.9% used in Ireland, so not to bothered with Europe.
I really like the idea of the custom voices on TomTom, but better mapping is my main priority.

Hi,
Route66 have just updated their maps. They already had 100% coverage of the country and uk, this update just makes it better...

Have used Route66 for about 18 months now and hasn;t let me down once... One of, if no the best system out there... :-)
