Can anyone reccomend a beginners board to suit me. I'm 6ft and weigh in at 13.75 stone.

Any mini-mal in the 7'6 to 8'0 range is perfect for most adult beginners.

i'd recommend a 7"9 BIC, tough, relatively inexpensive and easy to surf.
The 7"6 is not as easy to learn on as it's a different shape and quite a bit faster. Good luck!
