Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

North Kilkenny Young Fine Gael Launches

    On Friday 13th of April a new branch of Young Fine Gael was established in county Kilkenny. This new North Kilkenny branch was set up by supporters of Fine Gael in the county. The inaugural meeting was held in The Club House Hotel in Kilkenny City and was attended by the new members and local politicians Deputy Phil Hogan TD and Senator John Paul Phelan. Lively discussions were had at the meeting about the need for such a branch in the north of the county. A South Kilkenny YFG branch has been in operation for the past 3 years but it is extremely difficult for members to travel long distance to the south of the county for meetings.

    It is hoped that this new branch will help contribute to Fine Gael’s push for success in the coming years after a successful general election, while also developing its own ideas for future debates and campaigns.

    Very good. Very important to have a strong opposition in a democracy. Glad to see FG bounce back in the election. Especially with such challenges ahead with the economy here.

    Ya we had a good bounce back in the election alright, just a little bit more and we would have made it in, anyways that's the past now i suppose and we have to drive on and build on what's been achieved.

    YFG in North Kilkenny is very active at the moment and I'd urge anyone with any bit of interest to get involved, there's exciting times ahead. :)
