Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Similar to last season lets see how bad we are at making predictions for our respective teams in the 07/08 season :)

Here's last season's thread for those interested: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2054974465

Team, Optimistic Position, Realistic Position, Most Important Player, Breakthrough Player, Best Signing

    So for me I think...

    Realistic Position: 3rd
    Most Important Player: Torres
    Breakthrough Player: Insua
    Best Signing: Torres

    realistic - 3rd or 4th
    fabregas
i don't think Arsenal will have any 'breakthrough' players this season, unless you count Walcott, Diaby and Denilson having more playing time. Bendtner maybe?

As I expected more or less, except Sagna had a bigger impact than Eduardo.

A lot of Liverpool fans have been disappointed by the looks of it!

Never posted in the thread originally, but as a Newcastle fan, boy did some of our lads get it wrong. Whatever about getting it wrong on where we'd finish, to say Geremi or Roezenhal would be our best player/most important signing, what we're ya thinking lads?

Well i expected United to fight for title with Arsenal and Chelsea,i expected better season position for City,SPurs and Newcastle, just coz of those transfers and everything before this season i expected its going to be hell of the season but it seems names wasnt playing big deal and teams were just regular quality, hope next season will bring that boom in top 10 where everyone will beat anyone, but United to be still 1st;)
