Since Steve Gibson has taken over , Middleslboro have been one of the Premierships big spenders , not this summer though, whilst the premiership appears awash with money . There even selling there best players , Viduka and Yakubu is supposedly going to Everton. Has Gibson just got bored, or is Southgate getting ready to be fired ?

McClaren was decent enough at club level. Nowhere near of the international standard where you only get limited time with the players. Southgate well he isn't really qualified is he? Maybe if they stick with him though he might learn the trade and get a good grip of the club. Premiership clubs are rarely that patient in this day and age though so I can't really see him being there come the end of the season. I think it'll be a relegation battle for them but one that they'll probably be safe from with a few games left.

They didn't sell Viduka - he left on a Bosman at the end of his contract.
They aren't necessarily selling Yakubu either. There is interest in him but that doesn't mean Southgate's going to let him go.

I think Boro will really struggle this year especially without Viduka and more than likely Yakubu. Dont see where they will score goals. Big relegation candadites imo.

Depends on how many games Woody is fit for, without him they'll leak goals i feel.
