Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Anyone help?

My 6233 is frozen when I try to put my pin number in on restart.
It is not letting me enter any numbers when "enter pin code" screen appears.

It will turn on and off ok.

    Any ideas?

stick your sim in another phone and set the sim so the pin code is not requested. then try in ure 6233 again and see if it boots up. if you can get it to boot up, backup all your content with pc suite. then remove the memory card and try updating software with nsu.

Sometimes the PC Suite will require you to pick the "PC Suite mode" on your phone screen before it will let you back up - let's hope it doesn't!

i removed sim and set it to not request pin from another phone, put it back into my 6233 and its working fine.
will i still need to update from Nokia Software Updater?
the firmware on it is v 04.52
    RM-145
    thanks

Your first priority should be a backup, in case of problems in future. A software upgrade would probably be of benefit, as the current version is 5.43. Check what version is available for your variant here and if 5.43 is available, you should consider going for it. DO not take 5.10 as it's a crap version.

If the current version is only 5.10 for your model then change it it a generic product code using nss (google it)

Just be careful restoring stuff from a branded to generic version. Cumbersome but back up stuff one at a time to separate files initially from phone as is, then unbranded phone, then after unbranding, restore one at a time from the branded backup, and check after each restore. eg if you restore branded settings to unbranded phone and you encounter a problem, you will have the unbranded settings backup to rely on. Messages, Contacts & Gallery should be no problem. Have memory card removed so you don't accidently overwrite that.
