Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    How did you go about transferring the mysql database ? are they both running the same versions ?

    You can check the collation/character set on the tables first off:
    show table status from db_name

    The "Collation" column will tell you what's being used.

    Try resetting the collation on the database;
    ALTER DATABASE db_name CHARACTER SET latin1 COLLATE latin1_general_ci;

    This sets it to ISO 8859-2 (Western European Standard).
