Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Since it starts next week and nearly every paper has one of these figured I'd make a boards thread for one:

    Chelsea
    Man United
    Arsenal
    Liverpool
    Everton
    Tottenham
    Aston Villa
    Portsmouth
    Newcastle
    Man City
    Blackburn
    Fulham
    Bolton
    Middlesbrough
    Reading
    Sunderland
    Birmingham
    West Ham
    Wigan
    Derby

Ah jaysus, not another prediction thread. More or less all that matters for most fans is top 6 and bottom 3. Europe or relegation. I don't know of any fan that welcomes mid table mediocrity, you might argue the newly promoted but imo, I'd rather a relegation fight than drifting aimlessly in mid table.

Can someone explain what Aston Villa have done close season that makes a lot of people think they will be getting into europe?

I know they have a great manager (Why oh why did Steve McClaren get the job and not him) but they didn't really set the world alight last season.

nothing really, I didn't have much of an opinion outside of the top 4, so I didn't alter much of the rest of the table, just copied and pasted the OP with one or 2 slight changes, like bumping Sunderland up a bit. :p

Signed Scott Carson, think that he could be a better keeper for Pool than Reina if he get's his chance and think he will do very well at AV.

Thats about right ok. The chances of Liverpool topping the table are as likely as Man U and Chelsea been relegated

Stan james is offering 5000/1 on just one of them getting relegated, so i trust you'll be happy to except a 2 euro bet from me on those odds that Liverpool will win the premiership this year?

Stekelly just got his table upside down. Wonder what odds on Liverpool being "effectively" out of it by November are?
