Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sounds ridiculous but check this out...you buy a phone through Everton's website and they give you a free season ticket. Desperation if ever i've seen it!!

Give it a week and I reckon the Mancs will be doing the same. Two days to go before the season and season tickets still on sale to the general public , that is even more pathetic!!

18 month contract @ minimum of £55, min spend of £990.

Season ticket is in the section which normally costs £474.

Easy to use all those minutes and texts on your reds***e mates after the match

You get nothing for free in this world.... Your gonna pay for the season ticket...

Everton have a core of season ticket holders. Around 20 -> 25,000 i think it is. The rest are people who buy the reamainder of general sale tickets. They will probably go to 10 games a season, so if they have that group of 40 to 60,000 people who do this, they are going to sell out, or close to sell out most games... They only usually sell out for the derby games and games against man utd, arsenal, chelsea etc. You can get a ticket no probs for pretty much any other game... Its the same across most clubs really.

Everton and Liverppol are situated in one of the poorest districts in the whole of the UK according to government stats etc (it is well reported on toffeeweb.com), so a lot of people cant afford season tickets and more than likely if you are buying a season ticket, you are going to have to get them for your kids as well. Costly upfront payment every year...

If this is another way to get a nice tie-in of a phone and a season ticket... good marketing i reckon on Everton's part... I'm sure the phone provider and everton split the difference of the season ticket..
