We have recently setup a Residents Association in our local area and one of the first things we want to do, is to engage the County Council, so that we can discuss with them issues affecting us.

I have phoned the County Council offices, trying to get a contact name or even a department name, but I've been given the runaround - passed from person to person.

Does anyone have experience of dealing with the County Council, and perhaps advise us on the best way to move forward with this?

    Thanks

Try going directly to one of your local councillors, may or may not get you more of a result than the civil servant run-around.
