Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

carphone warehouse 3 sim in unlocked phone?

    i know i posted about this before but can someone tell me FOR CERTAIN that if i buy a crap bill-pay three phone in the CARPHONE WAREHOUSE (and not in an actual THREE STORE) i'll be able to take the usim out of the crap three phone and use it for voice and data in an unlocked 3g-enabled smartphone.

    reason i ask is i thought someone else here couldn't get a CARPHONE WAREHOUSE usim to work in their unlocked 3g-enabled handset but could get a THREE STORE usim to work. Any truth in this?

    i've had enough of vodafone and three look like an obvious alternative. But first i just want to make sure that if i use a CARPHONEWAREHOUSE usim in an unlocked 3g-enabled handset 1) it'll work and 2) i won't be charged differently to using it in an ordinary three handset. Don't want to find this out after a month and have to pay out on the contract.

    any advice much appreciated.

    Sounds totally implausible to me but if you have concerns why buy it in the Crapphone Whorehouse? Why not just buy in in a 3Store or online?

    A 3 sim is a 3 sim. where you buy it makes no difference

    No three store near me. I want to port my number over also- not sure about doing this online-would prefer to sort all that stuff out instore tbh. I did look into buying on the 3 site earlier and it was down anyway.

    Yeah there's probably no difference between the sims.
    Just thought i'd ask in case someone did have this problem.
