€1k Home Cinema Speaker set up - help required

Hopefully someone helpful and considerably more knowledgable folk around here can help me.

I have a dedicated home cinema room (quite large (30feet by 12 feet wide) and desperately need an update to my speakers. Im currenly only using a Sony integrated 5 speaker system and with the advent of a HD DVD player and new Receiver (Pioneer VSX516), im on the look out for a new set up.

Basicially I want tall boy/floor standing speakers x 4 (2 at the front and 2 at the rear) I also want 2 centre speakers, 1 for under the projected image and 1 behind me. All in all 6 speakers and then I also need 1 sub.

I visited a shop in the limerick area and gave my requirement and approx budget. I was recommended the following:

Mission M33I X 2 (Front & Rears (come in pairs)
Mission M36I X 2 (Centre Front and Centre Back)
M3AS (Subwoofer)

The total cost quoted was
€330x2 + €180x2+ €400 = €1420

As this is over my budget, I was wondering whether anyone could advise on similar style/performance speakers&sub for under 1k or alternatively advise on a shop/online shop that can provide the set up cheaper?

Just bought the svs sbs 5.1 speaker set

Found them great to deal with, speakers have arrived in dublin and collecting on monday.

They do a deal with the avforums.com in the uk so you get a little cheaper.

This will be powered by the onkyo 605 which is impresive so far - cant wait to see what they are like with the new speaker package.

Will post results when its all hooked up - hopefully early next week.

Thanks for the link, but Im looking for a 6.1 setup and 4 of these need to be floorstanders.

Anyone else?
