    Hi,
A bit of backround, Im 23, female and been single for two months now. Have decided to brave it and go out ON MY OWN tonight "on the pull", basically Im on a man hunt...:)

Yes I am originally from Dublin but dont generally look for singles bars etc in the city so Im trying to decide where to go.

Any suggestions anyone as to where to go??

(By the way, Im actually just looking to meet someone new, not have sex )

(Thank God no-one knows who I am )

Hmnnn suspicous poster and a not unsurprising reply from petes!!!
OP- they'll find out who you are. They'll trace your IP, then they'll have your ISP details, your address, your bank account, everything! Soon we'll know who you are.

Are you looking for places in Dublin city only?
    Did you try online dating?

Probably not the safest option in the world - heading out on your own in Dublin, trying to meet new guys. You should have a wingman (or wingwoman in this case) there for moral support and y'know - a bit of back up.

Do you have a thing for geeks and nerds? Why don't you hold off and head out tomorrow night to the boards beers instead?

Temple bar is the only place to go. It may be tacky, expensive, overrated and smelly but if you want to meet new friends it is second to none. The last time i was there I hooked up with a bee keeping convention from Holland and they were great craic. Good starting and finishing spot 'the temple bar' can be excellent. If you wan to go upmarket try the Clarendon or the Market bar. if downmarket is what you want Flannery's is your only place for a drunken snog. Dont expect to make any friends there though. Well none who dont want to feel you up at any rate.

Fashionable places are cocoon and the shelbourne bar but the buzz can vary.

Only if you don't like being able to move your arms more than 2 inches from your body.

    That place is stuffed.

    (and ****)

Superquinn.. Just linger around the 'meals for one' section, and occasionally shed a tear. You'll be sorted then

I'd be interested to hear where nice young ladies go to score, these days ;)
you're a dirty old man, but try middle abbey st, Malborough st, Thomas St and James' St, they're always scoring around there ;)
