I seem to be banned form posting in a few forums, is there any way of checking which ones, and why?

There's no way of checking which ones. You'll only know when you get "permission denied". To find out why, you can log out and then look at the forum. Think about the last post you made there and find it.

Or pm the moderator to find out why.

You will also get the 'denied' message when you try to access private/restricted forums.
