Again though, i assume physio-room only get word on these things from club reports which there weren't any of. Aurelio is definately injured as well but he's also not listed there.

He played against Porto, missed the Bolton game with a slight knock. This formation would work much better with two pacey wide men instead of Crouch & Voronin. Crouch in particular looks really out of place on the left of the three. I used to really like sissoko but I dont feel there is a place for him in the team now that we have Mascherano. His passing is so consistently poor it boggles the mind.

Pretty poor performance so far from the pool, hopefully they can raise their game in second half.

[edit] and on the penalty, that linesman should be shot. It was only a few feet on front of him!

Dont know what has happened JAR in the last 18 months but he is absolutely shocking. Id even think about giving Insua a run, he's been impressive anytime ive seen him for the reserves. Or throw Arbeloa on the left and Finnan on the right, JAR brings nothing to our game anymore.

Just cant understand this formation at all, 2 defensive midfielders with 1 goal between them all season when we are 3-1 down a poor team(not poor today admittedly), this game should have been our priority, balls to Marseille, i dont care about that game.

sissoko is honestly one of the worst players ive ever seen,its like before this season he was only blind in one eye and a shot from risse in training this year took out his other eye.what a joke of a performance
