My half time take - awful

Some job benitez has at half time. If Steve G was told to play wide left he has ignored it for the majority and gone central to try and influence the game. Result - Aurelio very exposed. We put on Crouch presumably to create some pressure from crosses - what crosses - no wingers. I can't even name the formation we're actually playing. A goal out of the blue and arsenal lost their composure.

I can't say its ok because its 1-1 - we could have been out of this - we have hardly played. If Wenger gets them playing again we'll be relying on serious luck.

Take Kuyt off, put Steve G on the right and bring on Babel who at least is used to the left.

My head is going to explode (my neck is nearly seized with tension), that was a cracking 45 mins for the neutral. Gerrard needs a good slap, he is passing like my granny. The goal has put Arsenal on thier heels at bit but we have to keep the ball better and to Crouch/Torres in better postions. Carra having a stormer.

Totally not working - everything going doing the right hand side cos Gerrard has drifted inside. Hopefully Arsenal don't realised how much room there is down here as Walcott could come on and do wreck.

Need to do something - maybe tell Kuyt to switch to the left for a while or bring on Babel for Aurelio and go all out attack :eek::eek: or bring Babel on for Gerrard :eek::eek: Tough one

Id bring Babel on for Kuyt ... while he aint having a bad game, I reckon Babel would be the better option for trying to get in behind there line.

Good first half to watch for the neutral. We need to start the 2nd half as we ended the 1st. The passing improved towards the end.

I think that Liverpool were the team who were playing like they had suffered Shock and Awe at Anfield for the first 30 minutes. It was meant to be Arsenal playing like that.

After Sami's goal, it looked like the Liverpool players woke up and realised where they were playing, and their passing was a lot more confident.
