heh! Worse performance so far (apart from Dunphy) has been Gerrard, some dodgy passes and most of them short.

Great to see Liverpool play with an attacking frame of mind. Its rare to see but its pleasing on the eye. Granted, the opposition are poor but we are retaining the ball really well and constantly look dangerous. Gerrard, Mascherano, Crouch, Benayoun & Arbeloa have been great. Crouch looks more dangerous than Kuyt & Voronin could ever hope to be. Ive been saying it all season.

I think this game is crying out for Kewell and Torres but wouldnt risk Torres unless hes 100% fit.

Total domination from Liverpool, Id say the possession would be at least 60-40. Retaining the ball well. Arbeloa is pushing very far forward. Most attacking frame of mind I have seen them in for weeks. Crouch looks very good, winning everything in the air. Riise had a header cleared off the line. Could easily be 3 or 4 up.

Besiktas have been woeful. Dont look up for it.

Some teams don't travel Possesion is 57/43 at half time. Good game for Harry to come in to I think.

Oh bit of credit to Voronin he's got back to dig out when required while also gettting in the mix at the other end, great spot for Yossis goal. I think he should stay and Kuyt be sold.

I think the result that knocks us out of the CL is best for us tbh. Good to see the lads getting some target practice tonight but I wont be at all disappointed if Rafa can concentrate purely on the PL after the next couple of weeks.

on the contary, I want a title challange this season, and no messing about picking up injuries or "resting" players the saturday before euro games. In theory we have the squad to compete in both but given the choice I want liverpool still in with a shout come the last few weeks of the PL season.
