Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hello ,I'm a little baffled with installing my first ever Serial Ata drive  ,
I've installed it in a Dell e520 ,running vista hp.

I've two questions about the installation ,
    1. In the bios the configuration is set to RAID ON ,should I turn this off to get my new drive working ?

    2. My new drive is showing in device manager ,but the drive is not showing in explorer.

Don't worry about the Raid On. It should not make any difference.

What you need to do is partition and format the new drive.

You need to be logged in as the administrator and it is not difficult as for me Vista did most of it.

Go to help and support in Vista and search under "Create and format a hard disk partition"

Thanks shane ,I've got it formatting now .
I wasn't sure if Raid on was mirroring my original hard drive.

    Cheers:)
