Hi, I'd just like to know what happens if you fail a core module. I'm hoping to get into 4th year science and according to the science booklet I only needed to pass nine modules outright. I only failed one, but it was a core module. Does anyone know if this makes any difference for progression to 4th year or is it just the same as if i'd failed a non-core module. I'd be very grateful for any information anyone could give me.

It was no problem for me and I'm going into 4th Pharm.

Once you get the overall% needed - 45% in my case and pass 9 you should be fine.

Of course do get in contact with the programme office to confirm it.
    Good luck.
