    Hi there,

I was hoping someone could helpme.

I am organising an American weekend with some friends(mainly American funnily enough),and was hoping to cook/make or bake soley American dishes that represent the particular state they originated from.

Is there anybody out there that can point mein the right direction as timeis pushing on for this event.

    Thanks so much in advance,

    Slimbo

Not recipes as such, but this might give you a few ideas for ingredients you could use.

This might be a silly question but which state(s) are they from?

Key Lime Pie, from Florida. have you thought of asking on boards in the US? You might get more people on there who know state specialities.

    Missisippii(sp?) mud pie,

Home made burgers with those huge chunks of chips
    Home made meatballs

You could make some rocky road ice-cream, or real vanilla ice cream

    Real lemonade
    Real Ice tea
    Long Island ice tea

Are they pure Americans,or do the have other blood in them (eg Columbian)?

    Blueberry pancakes?
    Egg white omelette?
