Best investment for an SSIA

Looking for the best return on approx €10,000 - €15,000. Open to serious suggestions and realise that I may have to put the money out of reach for 3 or 5 years to get the best return. It would be preferable however to have access to the money just in case. So if you invested your SSIA, what did you choose?
