I saw that, horrible turn card. Why did u show the Aq out of interest?

    " Im not stealing I swear.......really" ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,281 ✭✭✭✭mdwexford

so he can steal when he needs to

thought you had a huge hand when you c/c the flop on the above hand

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,039 ✭✭✭Theresalwaysone

    No callers.....kinda crap.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,394 ✭✭✭robinlacey

just wanted to show down some good hands when i raise cause most of the time i'll probably have muck.

md i'd check call that flop with a very wide range of hands, his range for raising the button and c-betting is pretty wide, any pair is probably ahead of it.

yeah first time i've had JJ+ all tournament as well

Incidently, if the turn brought the Aspades in the above hand? would you have called the shove?

im assuming not buy would u consider it a good spot to gamble?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,394 ✭✭✭robinlacey

i hate this stage of tournaments,it just turns into everyone reraising all in every hand except when i have something decent!

nah i kind of put him on something like AK with the flop overbet, any A is a terrible turn for me...

    You have nothing to lose.

    Well I had a bash :)

I was never meant to play in it as I am concentrating on Turbo SnG's at the mo. I thought I had unreg'd but I was surprised when the tournie popped up. I don't have the patience at the mo for those type of tournies and the time/pay scale is annoying. Plus I was on the beer and had no intentions of staying up all night.

Suffice is to say having consumed 1.5 bottles of wine @14.5% :o my game play suffered but applying my Turbo S'nG play worked out a treat. I did amass 600,000 towards the end and I felt my table image (NFAIM) worked well with regards to stealing blinds. The pay scale was big in my decision making as it was aroung $190/100th and $260/50th so it was do or die.

The hand that knocked me out me in the BB/40000 with AQd ..UTG+5
raises to 200,000.. I meant to go all in (600,000) as I felt it was a steal with low pair/ KJ etc but left 78,000 in error... and he went all in for 730,000... I called.

    AQd v 99

    [5d 3h 6d 6h] [8h]

Two D's on the board and me praying for a helpfull river...was not to be. Still made it past the 100 mark out of about 18,524 runners :D

Back to the Turbo SnG's for moi!
