Have just ordered the basic eircom BB package for my FIL, who is 80 next month!

This is what it says on the screen:
If you have ordered eircom broadband with the FREE netopia wireless router, you will need to make sure your PC or laptop is wireless enabled. If it is not wireless enabled, you will need either our wireless laptop card or our wireless USB adapter.

He has a desktop with a Networkcard.
Can anyone confirm that I will be able to hardwire it in with a lan cable please.
    Thanks.

plenty of lan connections to the rear of the router. Disable the wireless function if you do not intend to use it to keep out local freeloaders.
