Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This was last nights essential mix on bbc radio one.

I have to be honest, I was never a big sasha/digweed/boring porg house/zzz trancey fan so I actually never took much notice to how technical this guy was.

I listed to the full mix last night and I still can't get over how technical this guy is, apart from Laurent Guarnier is this guy one of the best DJ's in the world? (how do you even rate that?)

but have you heard anyone more technical in his genre?

Can't belived I've missed out on this guy for so many years, genuis.

(I haven't taken any pills, nor was i on any last night, lol)

As someone who likes Sasha, I didnt really enjoy the set, far too trancey for my likin'.....

Mind u I only heard the 1st half hr so far (on my way to work today!)

I'll get to listen to more soon.....

He's hardly technical nowadays anyway with his Ableton hocus pocus.....

If im allowed i'll link to it....

Sasha is by far one of my favs

I got a free ticket for that live box thing in Malahide a couple of weeks ago and tbh that's the only person I was going to see.

Although on the day I wasn't impressed with him not using vynil or even cds!!!

But certainly love his mixes generally, Northern Exposure, Communicate, GU etc, the chap well and truly is amazing.

I remember going to see him in the Red Box a few years ago and what a really quality night that was in there.

As I said, for the most part I think his choice of music is awful.

It's the mixing and record placment etc I was reffering too.

I really enjoyed it. Really banging set but not in a hard house type way. Loved the way he dropped Ironman, sounded like the place went mental for it. Also quite spacey in places.

Anybody notice a few mistakes in it? It wasn't exactly bad mixing but it like jumped or skipping beats. I didn't think you could get that in Ableton?
