Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Howdy,

Just purchased a WMP200 from linksys as an upgrade from my crappy unnamed card, assuming it would get a good signal from where I am 15ft and 2 walls away from a WRT24GS... I'm being picky I know... I seem to get randomly a signal of either 36Mbps and 56Mbps. I want 56Mbps 100% of the time because I am using this as a media server and I need as much bandwidth that is possible.

Basically before I fork out money I want to see if anyone has used either of the above and which is more useful?

Wireless with media servers sucks... I had major problems with it.. In the end, after trying many different AP's and adapters, I bought a pair of ethernet of mains plugs... Much simpler at 85Mb/s

If you read around a bit about wireless networking you will soon see that the max quoted say 54Mbps for the 'g' standard is never realised. Interesting article here: http://www.cites.uiuc.edu/wireless/speed.html
