    Hi

Is it possible to add foreign channels to local Sky box "Add Channels" option ?

I assume one needs the correct frequency etc. so just wondering if ther's somewhere one can get the details ?

    Cheers

Only a handful of channels aren't on the EPG. There are test channels now and again also. You can change the language for some channels. There's a German soundtrack for Wine TV and many for EuroNews. You can set this on your digibox.

Lots of sites list the channels on each transponder of a satellite. Such a site is LyngSat. If your dish is aligned to receive Sky's services, then you need to keep an eye on the satellites at 28.2/28.5 degrees SSE [seen as one satellite by the digibox as they are so close together].

Not sure what you mean by "foreign" as they are almost all non-Irish
If you mean other channels on Astra28 then most can be added this way - the extra BBCs , ITVs regions etc but wont appear on the epg.
There is already a wide variety of non-English speaking channels on the epg - Chinese, Bangladeshi, Pakistani, Indian, etc.
If you mean channels from other satellites, it was possible in a limited fashion until recent software updates rendered it almost impossible. The digibox is designed to be specific to the Sky platform and most of the channels on the Astra 2 group of satellites.
It is not worth even trying to use a digibox on other satelites now, an FTA box is better suited.

sorry, meant channels nont on SKY i.e. channels in Europe. Was trying to see if I could get some of the other sport channels for example in Spain or whatever.

on a Sky set up you will not get these channels.
Sky dish points at the Astra 2 satellite (location 28 degrees east).

Spanish football is mostly found on Astra1 (19 east) or Hispasat (30 west).

If you really want them then move your dish and as Wil says, get a new box.
