8 A1s......its obviously an accheivment. Anyone going to that kind of effort clearly has a very high regard for acadmic accheivment. It doesnt mean they're geniouses necessarily but it couldnt hurt.

Be happy for them - they at least prove that its possible to do great, and just because you didnt get 800 points or 600 or 300 doesnt make you inferior. It just means something else in your life might have been more important at the time.

Shame on you though for trying to insult them for applying themselves.

Ps. I got 290 the first time and 395 the second time. I still got my choice and thats what I chose to aim for.
