    Hi,

Got a max budget of 500 to spend.
Would like a flat screen Tv for PC gaming mostly (will need that port) - but to have the option to use it as normal TV later.
Any suggestions? I've really no idea on whats on the market.
The bigger the better I guess.

    Many thanks

LG 20" display or 22" is primarily a computer monitor with 1680x1050 resolution but doubles as a TV with analogue inputs & under budget.

Samsung also sell a similar display at 22".

Next option is a Samsung 23" HDTV which is of the 8x series so it's a fairly recent model, the VGA input supports 800x600, 1024x768 and 1360x768 it will also automatically adjusts the screen so it fills the entire screen when using VGA but it's a bit over budget.

Wild card at €423 this generic brand 27" on OcUK but the constrast isn't great on it.
