2 inches missing from my screen!

    Hi guys!

    Ive a niggling problem with my laptop at the moment. From the taskbar to about 2 inches up there is white straight across the screen, cutting off the 2 inches I did have for my viewing pleasure!! Has anyone got any recommendations for me??

    Do you have windows blinds or anything like it installed?

    What OS are you running?

    Hi The Goose!

    No, I dont have Windows Blinds running. Its fine when my desktop is in view but when I double click Mozilla Firefox to acess the 'net there is white/grey running straight across the screen. Im using Windows XP.

    Problem sorted!

    What happened was I added on a toolbar that I shouldnt have and I just uninstalled it, restarted Firefox and all is well!!
