Ah no,
Somewhere within walking distance of the docks would be nice. Anywhere around the city center. I don't know any independent butchers and I'm sick of meat from tesco or Dunnes.

Try Tormeys (sp?) in the Galway Shopping Centre,very nice meat there and have won a fair few awards but also quite pricey.
Aside from them theres the Butchers in Eyre Sq. Centre, Finnerty's on the bottom floor near rear exit.

One of the best butchers in the country is right opposite Tesco...

As already mentioned Finnertys is pretty good in the centre.

There's one on Market street and another on Mainguard. Don't know how late they're open though.

Best and most helpful butcher IMO is the one in Westside, Divillys. Love their stuff!
