is pornographic distribution legal?

    Hi i have plans to create a magazine which will contain pornographic material and i also want to distribute porn on dvd.all porn will contain people of legal age.i already asked about this on the legal discussion section here and was advised to ask at the business sections regarding distribution.from wht i hear there may be issues with censorship but there is not a law prohibiting pornography.And my biggest question is if that is the case how do the censorship board have no say in the sale of pornography from business`s registered outside of ireland?

    Would you ever get yourself a solicitor?

    The Censor also deals with the importation of material. Go read the ww.ifco.ie site.

    Slight detail; graphic pornography is illegal in the uk and ireland and distribution of such can bring about serious fines and/or imprisonment.

    Detail; you really do need someone properly clued in on the subject and legality of this. But if you need some photos taken of models etc I am a qualified photographer. I can legalize the ownership of the material I produce for you at very reasonable costs but distribution is a whole different ball game unless you are selling to states or countries in which it is legal for such materials to be distributed. The internet is a start but it's flooded with porn.
