there's a nice little fry up shop in the arcade, other than that that the place is robbery round there, as is most of town

Dunnes Stores is cheap and edible, if you just want sustenance.
Half an hour is a very short amount of time though, especially if you get your break at 1pm. You could spend that half an hour just queueing for a hang sangwich.

There's a quaint little coffee shop attacheed to the Carmelite Church just up above you on Aungier Street. it's like stepping back in time. let us know what you think?

Cafe Bar Deli across from the George. Great atmosphere and Italian menu! Can get quite busy though!

Seconding the Govindas recommendation. Also Yamamouri and Havana down the road (opposite The Globe etc...)

There's Sofia's near the motorbike shop on Aungier Street which is cheap and tasty.

there is a sandwich place called 'snaks n the city' which do good cheap sandwiches to take away or to eat on the seats out side. they're very very quick aswell.
