Who In Hell Wears Boots Like These?

As you all know I like to buy some 'questionable' stuff from eBay for my better half. Having a look through Schuh's UK eBay store I came across the boots below. Even for my 'questionable' taste they are a little too much. I don't think I've ever seen anyone wearing something like this in Dublin, though I can imagine the type.
Is it something that's popular in the UK perhaps and that the good ladies living in Dublin have too much class/taste and elegence for here?

They are incredibly tacky, tasteless, pornstar-esque and slutty for most people's taste's including mine, but does a certain type really exist that wears these out and about?
It's not like they have to go to a specialist shop and buy them, they're available in a major high street store and I've seen more and more styles recently.

That's the thing, it's too easy to say that and in the real world that's not true. I've never seen anyone in Dublin wearing something like this, not even northsiders as you say. These are available from a reputeable high street store, so obviously 'ordinary' lasses are buying them.

They're tacky as ****. I know that i'm a guy who doesn't meet fashion on an eye to eye relationship, but would you find anyone willing to wear them? ffs

Well neither you or I know someone who would wear them and thank god for that. But what I'm asking is exactly who does wear them. They are being sold on the high street so obviously they are being worn out and about, but who is lacking in that much taste or decency?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not advocating them at all, I think they're awful.

Ahh please, you prob have them on order for the missus to go with all the leather gear that you have recently purchased!

Well DeiseGal, I've never had any problem owning up here to the things I've bought and I can assure you even my taste doesn't sink as low as these.

I didn't say they must be popular there, I asked if they were because Schuh sell them and they aren't popular here though I can't imagine them being popular anywhere.

They are horrible!! But I have actually seen those kind of shoes in Schuh in Dundrum a few months back, not boots now, but shoes! They were all on this stand in the middle of the floor, loads of porno type shoes.

They ain't there anymore so maybe they weren't a great seller (shock horror!)

I have a friend who has a pair of them and she looks damn fine in them as well. Its more about how you ware them more than anything else. While they look great on her, they would look just stupid on most other ladies
