    Hi

I wanna get myself a new monitor. it's been awhile since i had alook at the pc monitor scene and back in the day LCD either weren't that good or were a bit pricey but now everyone seems to have them. So what would people recomend?

I had a look on komplett but there was so many i didn't know what to be looking out for or whatever. My current crt one is 19" which is a fine size by me so in or around that size is good. Anyone using one in particular which they would recomend?

    Any advice apreciated ;)

    thanks

How much in your budget ?

General recommendation for around €300 mark is the LG 22" L226WTQ. The Samsung 226BW was the former champ but Samsung changed the internal panel so there are 4 versions flying around all worse than the original panel so you've no idea what your getting so it's not worth it.

The LG is a good display & general all rounder but its colours out of the box a bit off however their is a proper calibrated profile which corrects that available (In XP use it with this).

At 19" the Samsung 931BW is a fairly decent model nothing special but it does the job well enough.
