board in newspaper

hey

anyone else see a board in either the Metro/Herald AM on Monday(i think) that is a board where you just practice your technique?

its something that you use in your sitting room,it might be called iSurf or something similar.

anyone know the one im talking about?

it was a small board on top of a thing like a small swiss ball.

i think it was electronic so it moved you around so you could practice your balance

I havent heard of those, but jesus, an indo board itself is dangerous enough. However, apart fromt he dangers they do work, they improve balance, give you a chance to work out what your most balanced stance is, and also strengths your core muscles. Just dont do it in front fot he tv or any other valuable item, you will find it is easy to fall off the back which results in a the board flying across the room.

might be this - but this looks like a real gimmick. the indo board however does work and strengthens leg muscles and improves balance. (dont do it indoors though......)

yeah thanks,think that was it alright. if it wasnt that,it was soomething fairly similar.

whats an indo board? would that be much better than the thing above?

You could make your own balance board rather than splashing out a small fortune on a glorified piece of wood, particularly if you have a few woodworking tools at home.

yeah i know name of them but cant think of it, i looked them up before, some body wanted us to source them, by time we shipped one into ireland and paid transport and customs it didnt make it worth while.
